PAYMENT POLICY

We will take a deposit for certain appointments, typically for new patients and/or planned treatment. This will be deducted from your final bill.

APPOINTMENT DEPOSITS

  • Treatment up to £250 50% Deposit
  • Treatment up to £400 40% Deposit
  • Treatment over £400 25% Deposit
  • Initial Private Examination Full Appointment Cost
  • First Hygiene Appointment Full Appointment Cost
  • Private Examination 50% Deposit
  • Hygiene Appointment 50% Deposit

Deposits are payable before the appointment is booked.

We understand that things sometimes come up and that you may need to make changes to your appointment. We will always be as flexible as possible with our patients when changes to appointments are required.

However, we reserve the right to retain your deposit in the case of late cancellations (any cancellation with less than one full working days’ notice). We will always try to be sensitive to personal circumstances in the event of late cancellations and work with you to rebook appointments.

Please be mindful that time lost through late cancellation or non-attendance of appointments is depriving other patients an opportunity to access our services and incurring costs to the practice.

If you do not proceed with your treatment plan, as long as the required notice to cancel is adhered to and treatment has not commenced, your deposit will be refunded in full.

CANCELLATION CHARGES

Appointment cancellations with less than one working days’ notice will be charged at £40.00 per hour (minimum charge £40.00).

All of the above fees are chargeable at the discretion of Market Street Dental Care. Our priority is working with patients to provide care at the day and time they accepted at time of booking the appointment.
